Meet Your Instructor Christie Tonnessen



Meet Christie Kuehner Tonnessen, the founder and creative director of Tonnessen Studio. Before launching the Studio, Christie was the Brand Director at Schumacher where she oversaw both content creation and brand marketing. Prior to this, Christie worked at Ralph Lauren and Sotheby’s International Realty focusing on global marketing, digital marketing, content creation, and social media.

In 2023, Christie pivoted from marketing roles at large, Fortune 500 companies in turn for supporting smaller businesses when she founded Tonnessen Studio. It was important to Christie to work with brands on a more intimate level to develop close, trusting relationships with the designers and founders.
